About the Job
Seattle Gourmet Foods is looking to fill our Production Team Member position on our swing shift (starts at 3:00 PM). We will consider candidates with a strong work ethic and a passion for teamwork.  The ideal candidate will have work experience in a food manufacturing facility.  We are a privately owned gourmet food manufacturer, located in Kent Washington. Production Team Members are self-starters responsible for operating the line in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring quality standards and schedule adherence are maintained. Production Team Members work in a variety of areas such as Packaging, Hand Pack, Mints, Enrobing Line, and Panning while standing/walking for long periods of time. This position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, document and sample collection to meet quality checks, make adjustments and repairs to machines and take initiative to ensure work is done correctly.

Education and/or Experience: 
  • High School diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior experience working in a food manufacturing facility is preferred, but not required.  
  • Have a good attendance record and be able to comply with attendance policy. 
  • Understanding punctuality is key. 
  • Able to work as part of a team. 
  • Ability to effectively read, comprehend, and fill in production forms accurately with dates, times, temperatures, and other processing information. 
  • Ability to work safely around/with automated and semi-automated machinery. 
  • Must be able to work safely around food allergens such as tree nuts, dairy, and soy. 

The Details: 
  • Positions are immediately available on the swing shift.
  • The normal schedule is Monday-Thursday (4) 10-hour shifts (Day starts at 5 AM, Swing at 3:00 PM).
  • $17-19 per hour 
  • Overtime may be available
